  • This Scan is done when indicated and as referred by the clinician.

  • The specialist performing the ultrasound Scan applies a water based gel over your specific part (except on your eyes) or in the region where a specific part is to be scanned. Then our expert places a hand-held device named transducer/ probe on that region and moves it around, to detect the images of the organ. In some cases if the images are not clear the expert may repeat the process to acquire clearer image

  • No special preparations needed, our experts advices you to wear comfortable clothes for the Scan.

  • It takes 15-20 minutes per Scan. Procedures might be repeated for better results.

  • This Scan is absolutely safe, since an ultrasound Scan machine uses a simple low frequency sound wave that can penetrate your body, tissues and organ for imaging without any side effects or damage.

  • This Ultrasound imaging method also has certain limitations. Specifically: Ultrasound cannot accurately diagnose the intestines and parts because the sound waves are obstructed by air and vapours. Ultrasound cannot travel through air. With ultrasound, the doctor can only see the outer surface of the bone, not the inside of the bone. In addition, ultrasound also limits the survey in overweight and obese people.
