  • Basically an ultrasound is prescribed when the woman has an acute discomfort in the lower abdomen.

  • The specialist performing the ultrasound Scan applies a water based gel over your pelvic or in the region where a specific organ is to be scanned located. Then our expert places a hand-held device named transducer/ probe on that region and moves it around, to detect the images of the organ. In some cases if the images are not clear the expert may repeat the process to acquire clearer image.

Ultrasound cannot travel through air. With ultrasound, the doctor can only see the outer surface of the bone, not the inside of the bone. In addition, ultrasound also limits the survey in overweight and obese people.
