A strong sense of social responsibility and the belief that cost should not limit the availability of good quality care to the poorer sections of society has always been integral to the philosophy of the founders of this institution.
Therefore from its inception, this institution has provided care to patients from corporation hospitals, government hospitals and charitable institutions in the city such as the Women and Children's Hospital, Institute of Child Health, Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, Stanley Hospital, RSRM Hospital, Govt. General Hospital, Govt. Royapettah Hospital, ESI Hospitals, Sri Ramachandra Medical College Hospital and Military Hospital, Chennai. Over 60,000 scans have been done over the years in the government institutions.
Between 1982 - 2021 an average of 4433 scans per year were performed, adding upto more than 1,72,870 scans in 39 years Estimating.
