On payment of Application Fee of Rs. 500/- by cash or (ii) by post sending a requisition to the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University or the Managing Director, MediScan Systems, with a Demand Draft for Rs. 590/- drawn in favour of the Dr.Suresh Mediscan Systems Private Limited, Payable at Chennai, specifying the programme desired to be enrolled. The Application form will be sent by courier/ registered post. Application once sold by the Directorate or its Study Centres or by MediScan Systems, Chennai or the other learning centres cannot be taken back and the amount will not be refunded or adjusted. The application form is not transferable and the application for admission should be in the prescribed form of the year 2009-2010 and only the form issued by Directorate or its Study Centres or MediScan Systems, Chennai and the other learning centres.

for completing the admission selection process, provisional admission to the programme will be provided which will be subject to confirmation by the Director, DDE, Annamalai university. The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University is authorised to confirm the admissions on scrutinizing the application for completeness and correctness on the following, before issuing identity cards.

The students are required to attend minimum lectures and to observe decorum while attending their classes / programme for appearing in the theory. The minimum number of PCP days to be conducted in a year for each programme is 60 days for M.Sc. in Diagnostic Ultrasonography Programme and 40 days for Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound Technology Programme. It is compulsory for students to attend minimum 80% of the PCP days.
A circular of details of date, venue and time for the Personal Contact Programmes for the whole academic year will be sent along with Admission Confirmation to all the students. The Directorate / MediScan Systems, Chennai reserves the right to fix, shift or cancel any PCP centre.
